Ray Bourque has admitted to operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol in relation to a late-June incident in Andover, Ma. As a result, Bourque will lose his driver’s license for 225 days – 180 for refusing a breathalizer, and an extra 45 days as levied by a judge.

If Bourque stays out of trouble for that length of time, his case will be dismissed. He originally plead not guilty, but had a change of heart today when he told his attorney, Gerard R. LaFlamme Jr., that he made a mistake and wanted to be held accountable for his actions.
