The Bruins snuck away with a point in a 4-3 overtime loss tonight in Pittsburgh. This game was all offense from each team as the Bruins out shot the Pens 44-37. Both goaltenders had very good games as Tuukka Rask made 33 saves on 37 shots and Matt Murray made 41 saves on 44 shots.

Brad Marchand, David Krejci and David Pastrnak each scored for the black and gold. Justin Schultz, Nick Bonino, Conor Sheary and Bryan Rust scored for the Pens. This win marks the 7th straight for the Penguins and seem to be a top of the league earning their 20th win of the season.

Bryan Rust gave the Pens the win when he put one past Rask just 1:24 into overtime. This is the Bruins 3rd overtime loss of the season dropping their record to 16-12-3. The Penguins have been on an offensive surge lately as they have scored 39 goals during their seven game winning streak.

The Bruins did have a lead in this game when Brad Marchand opened up the scorer and David Krejci scored his fifth of the season giving the Bruins a 2-1 lead in the 2nd period. The Penguins would score two unanswered goals and forced the Bruins to play from behind. David Pastrnak scored the equalizer and forced the game into overtime with 6:40 left in the 3rd. Pastrnak is now two ¬†goals behind Sidney Crosby who leads the NHL in goals with 21. The Bruins didn’t allow Sid the Kid to score tonight.
