The Boston Bruins rolled passed the Columbus Blue Jackets on Thursday night at the Garden with a 5-2 win. This game was all Bruins the entire way.  Columbus didn’t show a glimmer of fight. Although the Blue Jackets Nick Foligno opened up the scoring 2:29 into the game, the Bruins scored five unanswered goals to roll to their 8th win of the season. Bruins have won the last two home games and now face a week long road trip that will bring them through Arizona, Colorado and Minnesota. Matt Belesky and Jimmy Hayes scored their first goals of the season tonight and the 3rd and 4th lines defiantly stepped up. Tuukka Rask continues to stay hot and improves his record to 7-1-0. Rask made 15 saves on 17 shots to give the Bruins the win. Bruins out-shot the Blue Jackets by a large margin of 32 to 18. The Bruins won every aspect of the game, most notably face-offs, winning 69% of them. Neither team could convert on the power play.
